When I went to Manhattan you could buy 3.2 beer at 18. Aggieville was crawling with kids under 21. It seemed like Manhattan had more of a "college town" vibe. If the mayor would of plowed into a bar back then, he would be a campus celebrity I remember that (3.2 beer) when I went to K-State. There w...

Re: 2024 expectations ...
take the over on the left half, the under on the right half - sans the 8.5s and houston. the 9.5s play it off in arlington. ;-) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GNjBcSWXAAAdVXL?format=jpg&name=small As much as I liked seeing that, I don't think it means much. I think KU is too high and Tech is too low. ...

Whew! We can relax now. KU is NOT going to the SEC. I was worried there for a .....never.

I don't want to make any predictions either, but I think the offense is in good hands. Former head coach with a great offensive mind and an OLine coach that is damn good at his job. If Avery is a threat to run the ball, the defense has to designate a spy to keep him contained. I believe that our OCs...

He is skilled, I'll give him that. I am not a fan of the 'look at me' activity though. I get it he is a little kid, but if he gets worse as he gets older, it is going to get problematic, especially if he idolizes the idiots in the NBA. And if his parents are short people, his future success in baske...

Re: NIL in High School...
Sounds like the beginning of European style club sports in America. I can see it happening in most sports except for football. Football equipment costs too much money, as does upkeep of the field, even turf.. But who knows? If that is what happens, school districts should charge some pretty good rat...

This team is starting to remind me of back in the 80s and that Illini team that had Kendall Gill and Kenny Battle and Nick Anderson. All of them were around 6'5 and 6'6, long armed guys who could really play. Keyonte Johnson was 6'4", could shoot and defend. These guys Tang is picking up are like hi...

Re: Was hoping AJ could help fix this void we seem to have every year
For the record, I think our talent level is underrated and underappreciated. The reputation around over-achieving by doing more with perceived less is just an inaccurate assessment by people too lazy to do the work based on what Bill Snyder did in the mid-90s. I could give a dissertation on this to...
