Re: Jim Harbaugh
I believe the last straw was a player allegation came out that he was locked into a closet. Along with his verbal abuse/hard love approach to players, he wasn't a very good fit for the more liberal KU alumni. I do think he was one of the best coaches that KU has had over the past couple decades. Jus...

Re: ku going before independent panel ...
I think this is better for the NCAA as it takes it out of their hands and then if KU gets everything they should have coming, the NCAA wasn't "the bad guy". Slam a blue blood back to reality and hope it cleans things up if an independent group gives a more severe penalty than what the NCAA laid out.

I don't think KU cares about a sketchy past. I would expect to see someone that has already been at an Adidas school as they may already have all the connections they need in the recruiting department. Someone like Pitino is probably very likely.

Re: The fight
I actually think Gordon should have stolen the ball. I understand unwritten basketball rules 101. I also understand rivalries. We are at our rivals, the score is irrelevant. I'm gonna play 110% every second I am on that court. You don't secure the ball, I'm gonna steal it. As long as there is time ...

Re: Suspensions announced
But what if the game is over? The clock went to zero. The officials added a second after the melee. Game wasn't over. Official's jurisdiction doesn't end until they leave the visual confines of the court. My guess would be if the game were over and the official's had left, then it's up to the schoo...

Re: Latest installment of "Ask the A.D."
What's hurting the conference more is when games are on ESPNU. That takes a 3rd special tier of cable in order to get. You can get the sports package with ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews. Then pay for ESPN+. Then they go and put crap on ESPNU so you have to buy a 3rd tier in order to watch a couple of games a ...

Re: Bowl Destination?
The importance of going to a bowl is to get the extra 3 weeks of practice. For a team like K-State which is known for developing players rather than having 4/5* prospects, this is huge. Personally I think all teams should be able to practice until the last bowl game is played, but life isn't always ...

Re: Why Business Can't Pay College Players
Wasn't there either an idea floated out there on this board or a blog somewhere that basically said a similar thing? Let the business directly pay the college for their scholarship and stipend, but limit the roster of the team to only 1-2 (for basketball) of those players to keep teams competitive. ...

Re: line but no book
The game was probably scheduled over 5 years ago when Nicholls State wasn't as good as they are today. Now NDSU on the other hand has been good for awhile, but again, some of these games have been scheduled for almost a decade. Taylor mentioned the fact that there are football games already schedule...
