Re: BatCats at Stanford
Even though Stanford may be having a down year it is still an impressive showing by the Bat Cats. This new coach deserves some credit for assembling some talent. Maybe we can finish outside the cellar in the Big 12 this season. Yes we won three games giving up a single run in each on the road at a ...

Re: BatCats at Stanford
Wicks throws a gem again and Ekberg shut the door and Cats win 6-1 to take 3 of 4 from the Cardinal. Wicks didn't walk a single batter in 7 innings and Ekberg only 1 in his two innings. We have a damn fine pitching rotation it seems. And a good defense. Which Stanford was sadly lacking. They are ver...

Re: BatCats at Stanford
McCullough gets roughed up a little in the 3rd and the bullpen has a rough 6th but the guys rally with 3 runs in the 8th but finally lose 7-5. On to game two of the double dip. Go Cats!

Re: Bat Cats hosting Fairleigh Dickinson
Good confidence series for the Cats. However, my confidence in ESPN+ is extremely low. I tried streaming it both on my home PC (100mb down/30up) and on my 4g phone, neither would play for more than a few minutes before hitting a stutter. For $5 a month, I'd hope to be able to to watch a game in dec...

Bat Cats hosting Fairleigh Dickinson
The guys pummeled the hapless Knights 8-1, 12-1, and 20-1 for the sweep. I didn't make it this weekend but watched some of it on plus and the pitching seemed very efficient from the young group. I see that plus is streaming all of our home games which is good but the streaming quality is not.

Re: Cats in Corpus Cristi
Jordan Wicks throws another gem giving up no runs and no hits through 7 innings. Tyler Ekberg mows down Utah in the 8th and the Cats take a 1-0 lead to the 9th. But the Utes finally get a hit to lead off the inning and things fell apart and they walk off 2-1. Just one hit but walks and a wild pitch ...

Re: Cats in Corpus Cristi
I believe I saw the bullpen added 5 more strikeouts to McCullough's great start. I don't know anything about Mizzou this year but they were always a tough game for us so I consider this a very good win. After all they are from the mighty SEC

Re: K State Soccer Game Sept 1
For baseball games we always park in the main lot North of the baseball stadium. It's free and plenty of room for tailgating. It's a fairly short walk down to the entrance and tickets are readily available. I'm assuming it's the same for soccer.

Re: B12 baseball tournament
Thanks for the update. Bad timing for me to catch the game. Do you think Wicks may be injured? Well I guess we just consider this a chance for some payback to the hawks. Go Cats!

Re: swept by the hawks
Really disappointing to end the season like that and hopefully JW isn't hurt much. Up until then the last half of the season showed much improvement which we haven't had the last few years. Overall I'm impressed with the coaching staff and looking forward to next year. Love to see us play a few more...
