Re: Cussing and berating the portal madness
Yeah, I think college sports fans across the country have almost reached a breaking point. The rivalries and traditions that made college sports so great are being tossed aside for even more money and power in the hands of a relative few. The system is being rigged right before our eyes. Fans will ...

Re: Cussing and berating the portal madness
You have put forth the argument Jay Bilas and the talking heads have made. However, if the tuition, books, housing, stipend, educational opportunities, tutoring, nutrition planning and food, workout facilities and conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, high level coaching, exposure to potential e...

Re: Portal 2024
I wonder if going after this JC player says anything about whether or not Riley Kugel is still a possibility? Hard to tell, although Kugel is a SG, rather than a forward. We do have room for another guard and another forward. From there, we could sign one more center and save that final scholarship.

Re: Portal 2024
I thought Dai Dai had landed at TCU, but apparently I was incorrect. I noticed he makes guard #6 for the Cavaliers, include a transfer PG fro Fl State. I'm not sure the reason of being lied to, likely about starting, really holds water compared to the opportunity he has selected which is, also, fur...

Re: Portal 2024
Saw where Dai Dai ended up transferring to Virginia. I thought he would end up closer to his home in Chicago.

Looks like we picked up an experienced backup QB transfer from UConn. Welcome to K-State, Ta'Quan!

Re: So where will the Jaysquawkers. mutant chickens, play next year?
ku going to the sec or b10 would not surprise me one iota, nor would them not. this is a crazy time driven by greed and shortsightedness, but mostly media companies. if offered, i would not blame them for going because k-state would do the same thing in a millisecond. it's "all about me" presently ...

Thanks BamaCat, I forgot about the Avalon and Brothers. Not sure how I forgot about the latter since I frequented that place  . A few other establishments I remember were Aggie Lounge (frequented by my Econ professor), Scoreboard (previously named Mother's Worry), and the original "Last Chance...

Re: A Different Portal - Manhattan/Dublin
Well, it looks like the portal has already been shut down due to bad behavior on both sides of the pond (shocking  ). Someone on the Dublin side showed a video on their phone of the Twin Towers burning on 9/11. Another Irish lady was grinding her backside on it until police showed up. Then an ...
