Re: Portal 2024
Noah Waterman at BYU has just entered the Portal. Apparently players who have coaches leave get an extended period. He would be a nice Kaluma replacement. 6’11”. Had 9.5 ppg and 5.4 rpg. Shot the 3 at 37%. Nice size and stats... KSU would obviously like to get a true "Big Man" at the potst as a def...

Re: Kaluma and NBA
Just wondering out loud, but why would Trazarien White be deciding between TCU and Tech? K-State has more winning tradition, good facilities, reportedly solid NIL, and I would choose every day of the week to play for Tang and his staff vs Dixon or McCasland. I sometimes just can't figure out the re...

Re: Kaluma and NBA
Right now KState is in desperate need of a high level rebounder and scorer at the wing/4 position who can stretch the floor. . Kaluma fits that role better than any other player in the portal. If we do not get Kaluma back, we need to sign a transfer with similar abilities. Top 5 rebounder in the Bi...

Cussing and berating the portal madness
Joe Tipton has reported on his Twitter site that Washington University has given Thee Great Osobar a 2+ NIL and marketing deal to play basketball for them. I have been trying not to disparage the portal as it is what it is. This kind of horse apples is a knife in College basketball. Pure insanity. W...

Re: Kaluma and NBA
Kaluma participated the G League Elite Camp, but did not get one of the Camp's invites to participate in the NBA combine. Not the end of his quest, but may make him do soul searching. He has until May 29 to decide College or professional.

Re: 20 Conference games next season
It will hard to schedule putzes to beat up given more conference games and holiday or beach tournaments. I hope this doesn't wind up with Big 12 beating each other and resulting in lots of unimpressive records.
