It does lead one to believe that those against voter ID are actually for voter fraud. Hmmmmmm

EMAW loves models when they support his cause.

Some serious irony there with that post.

all you have to do is disprove the model CK. simple. stop pouting and get busy. although to be fair, this is not a model that attemps to predict. it's observation of data and interpretation of that data. disagree with the interpretation? all you have to do is explain why and clarify. simple. easy.

although not as easy as just tossing a little hysterical fit.

what I was fascinated with, by this study, is that it would suggest that it is in the BEST INTERESTS of the GOP to NOT have voter ID.

so indeed, by pushing hard for voter ID, they actually are hurting their cause. clearly they can't be 'supressing' or intending to suppress anything.

whoops, there goes that lefty sacred cow

I also applaud the author who CLEARLY announced his preconceived notions and set about to prove them. then had the intellectual honesty to report his findings, contrary as they were, anyway.

that is supposed to be how this 'science thingy' works.

The model looks good to me. On average, looks like voter ID laws do not affect voter turnout.

so, now there's data to support that voter ID laws do NOT impact people negatively and thus are not racist at core?
(can I get a simple 'yes'? )

I don't think you're paying attention properly nor do you understand how models work.

I'll say it again, on average, it looks like voter ID plays have no affect on voter turnout.

Now, did the study say that NO ONE was disenfranchised by voter ID laws?

okay, and when weather conditions are horrible in western KS, that hotbed of conservative voters, and they don't get to the polls to vote: have they been disenfranchised?

you work nicely from the theoretical. if the law says 'you must present ID' then legally, was 'one' disenfranchised?

keep on parsin' mr parsey-parse-meister.

sweet jesus, go get some preparation H already and use it, will you?
