Re: Beaty Sues for Breach of Contract
Oh, but they are victims yet again.
They call us classless for a chant, which is classless, but they just continue to support cheaters and corruption.
As more unfolds, the more I appreciate John Currie's dilligence in compliance. Their athletic Dept and fanbase is full of "look the other way", then pump your chest people. And they wonder why people (not just KStaters) hate them.
I despise that University.

john was very pleased with the mbb championship. he said he watched with his son, and they both were so proud. the guy has been through a bunch of crap here and after leaving for tennessee. it's nice from his angle to see coach weber's success. and from mine, to see a couple of guys, bruce and john, doing the right thing and actually succeed.wild@nite wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 9:08 amOh, but they are victims yet again.

I think the Squawks will pay Beaty unless they find that dead hooker in his closet.

Is this right?
In an attempt to avoid paying a severance payout, KU self reports a violation to retroactively change Beaty's status to fired with cause. Even though they escaped with a slap on the wrist for cheating under Mangino. Mangino even said that KU wouldn't miss one scholarship. It seems to me that they're playing with fire. If the NCAA discovers violations they may decide to throw the book at KU this time based on their recent cheating under Mangino. Recidivism.
Or perhaps they're trying to set a precedent for firing Bill Self after the NCAA completes the report on basketball corruption this summer. I bet $Bill's buyout is larger than the 3 million their trying to save on football.

In the real world, why would you make a deal like that? You wouldn't.

Clearly there must have been prior instances of dead hookers over in Lawrence for them to be looking for one now.ToledoCat#2 wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 4:04 pmI think the Squawks will pay Beaty unless they find that dead hooker in his closet.
