Some have speculated maybe Love or Shadd. However, IIRC, both those guys were injured for a good chunk of last season and so are a little behind the other bigs in their development.

Regarding next years team.
My opinion is both A Gordon and Murphy will be contributors.
Murphy is the same height as Dean Wade and if you watch this video, he can do lots of the things Dean did as a freshman.

Williams and Gordon will be key backups at guard, Trice and Stockard will be key backups at the 4&5, Sneed will average 38 minutes a game.
I also think its possible Gordon will start over McGuirl, but for now, I give McGuirl the starting nod.
Decent team that goes 10-8 in conference, 4-5th place finish, seals a spot in the NCAA tournament in the final week of the regular season. Gets an 8-10 seed, takes 2nd round loss to a 1-2 seed. Half the fan base calls for Weber's head again.....

If the freshmen can play D, this will be a rugged defensive team again next year. X, Cartier, Mike and Mak are all very good defenders - potential all-defensive team kind of guys - and SNW & Trice will be better in their second year. We won't have the experience that the seniors bring, and we may struggle to score at times, but I guarantee we will not be fun to play against.

this foot injury thingy is not unique to k-state. i watched gonzaga last night and one of their best players, killian tillie, missed 22 games with a foot injury. isu's mario shayok missed games with a foot malady. baylor's makai mason is missing games due to a foot injury. tcu's kayot noi out several games this year with same.

"Well you know, if it werent for the injuries we may have been in better position. If it weren't for the measels epidemic in the locker room, we could have won 11 games. And don't forget, we we're only down by 2 with 10 to go before losing by 30"wazucat wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 11:15 amBruce is that you?Lowden23 wrote: ↑March 12th, 2019, 1:50 pmG Diarra
