Would prefer to have a spring game. Don't see the point of going to the stadium to have a meet and greet and look at practice drills. Nevertheless, if he wins games that is all that counts.

Not complaining, just commenting. Seems like the tailgating atmosphere might be compromised with the new format.

Snyder left him with only one running back and several other positions with no depth to play a game. Watch his press conference. Given the chance of injury, looks like he doesn’t want to ever do it unless it is a packed stadium.

I was surprised to hear the number of players who were unable to practice due to injuries, especially with the season ending nearly three months ago.

I know many enjoyed the spring game, myself included, but I figured if Klieman wasn’t doing one there were valid reasons behind it. Remember this guy knows what he’s doing. We all agree he took over NDSU when it was in a very good powerful position but at the same time he really took that program to another level. People are talking about NDSU making the jump to FBS and honestly there’s some validity to that thought. You watch their FCS and it’s looks like an FBS team playing an FCS team. Most games Klieman’s NDSU teams were simply bigger, stronger, and faster along with out executing the other team.

Sorry got off on a tangent...what I’m trying to say is coach Klieman knows what he’s doing. Yes he’s going to change some things that are considered KSU traditions by some. These changes may not be taken very well and not be well received. But let’s understand he’s the coach and has the history to prove he knows what he’s doing. Also I feel he isn’t going to change the core traditions and values that makes KSU football what it is which is why he got hired. He understands the culture and fits.

Always found the Spring Game incredibly boring, but it was football and it was an opportunity to tailgate with friends and enjoy the spring weather after a long, cold winter.

If I lived in the area, I would be there and have a good day tailgating. I would watch the practice just to see the new offense and defense base formations. It would also give me an opportunity to see players that did not see much if any playing time last season. Hmmm, that is the reason I enjoyed the spring game when I lived close.
