3-1 loss against @TCU. Really last decent chance game is against Ttech at Senior night (not realistic to think we can beat Baylor). We are going to finish big 12 will losing record again and probably tied for 7th or 8th in the league. We should know which seniors are coming back on Sr. night. Still up in the air with 1 year left are Hinkle/Baka/Bolding. Better team than last year but similar to worse results.

Mittie had an All American Center and took 6th. The guy is in his 8th year and has not wiffed a conference title. His best finish was 4th and was with mostly Patterson recruits. Look at his record against Baylor, Texas, and ISU. It is HORRIBLE. We are wasting money on that guy.
I’m not a pro or anti Mittie person. Mittie is an average coach. You take away his one really off year two years ago when they went 3-15 and he’s 66-66.
Not counting that year he’s finished 4th 3 times, 6th twice and 7th twice. Not counting the covid season he’s taken them to the post season all but one year. 2 WNIT appearances and 4 NCAA appearances. And made at least into the second round in all those except one.

Why I say “trending up” is they rebounded from that 3-15 season to go 9-9 and make the second round of the ncaa tournament. He has an all American who set a new scoring record and had a very good frosh class. I’m not sure you dismiss him at this point and then also take a chance you lose those players to the portal. And it’s women’s basketball and KSU is not UConn, Tennessee, Baylor, Stanford, Notre Dame or the like.

I think he gets at least until after next year for sure and then will have to have shown something with the fact of having talent and upperclassman talent at that, should all stay.
Bhoov, ADGT has already given him the extension. I disagree with your conference finishes. The actual finish is where they are seeded in the tournament. Look at the Kansas girls that have left the state. Mittie brings NOTHING to the University.

Ladies rally from a 2-1 deficit to beat TT in five. Sixth win in league.

With the Ttech win, ksu will finish with a winning record and 6-10 in the big 12 assuming the likely loss the Baylor (we haven't shown we can play at that level this year). 6-10 is the same record as last year.
Senior night had Warner (already known) and Baka (she had 1 more yr possible) listed as not coming back. So appears Sr Hinkle and Bolding are coming back. Remember KSU only had 2 players in the currently incoming class (DS and MB), so will certainly be needed players from the portal. I would imagine we lose 1-2 to the portal as well.

Lost to Baylor in 3. 25-20,25-20,25-20.

The problem with the team that we haven't done well since 2017 (throw out the covid year). It is bottom half of the league as a regular spot and we can't beat KU that frequently. We can do better than this for sure.

i just saw this too. Wow at least we are going to get change to have some excitement here. will be interesting to see which players stay or go. See if they go after UNLV coach or it is another up and comer.

So I don’t follow women’s volleyball programs, but was just taking a look at the top 25 noticed several programs that aren’t in a P5 conference. Not sure if this year is an exception for them or if they’re regularly at the top part of their respective conference and looking at post season. Also don’t know if these coaches are kind of lifers, liking the area they live in and what they have going and their age, but these were some I noticed wondering if anyone is familiar with them.
Creighton, Marquette, Rice, W. Kentucky, Pepperdine, James Madison.

With the fact you’re in a big time conference and the new facilities I would think that would be attractive to one of these coaches who would like to prove they can do it in a big time conference.
