2020 Kansas State Volleyball
They redshirted a lot and most weren’t impactful enough to warrant that. Archibong was probably the best and this past fall she played really well but will be the only time she played a big role. She isn’t going to be back next year. Vernon won’t be either. They need to get a MB that can make a big splash.
Well now officially didn't make the tourney. Last year they lost Mutiri and Anna Dixon. Both would have been a huge help this year as they are both good players. I don't remember Suzie losing that many impactful transfers. Most have been fresh/soph that weren't getting any playing time. They are certainly low on the MBs right now and I would expect a transfer to come in to fill the hole. I'm suprised they didn't already get a MB to commit since she had to know Archibong/Vernon would likely leave at end of season. Who knowns with Hammontree (transferred to Ark State). Fritz did get Martin to transfer in and maybe she stays another season.
Looks like the volleyball facility won't start getting built until 2022. Any news on fritz's contract?

It said they were the first team out. While it’s disappointing, it’s a big improvement from last year. Hopefully all the freshman stay and they can build on it. Definitely need to get one or two more MB’s. Fernholz is pretty solid but someone that could be an elite blocker would help. Hopefully Martin comes back.
Texas vs Kentucky in the finals. Good luck to Texas.
Kuck is also now in the portal (Carlson, Kuck, Vernon, Martin, and Hammontree (left much earlier though and went to Ark State)). Will be interesting where all these players go. Lots of really good players in the portal. Hope KSU get some good ones till fill the holes/upgrade.

And, to add the cherry on top, yet another Kansas/KC area player is invaluable in a team's run to the NCAA title (Lilley for Kentucky - the National Player of the Year). Of course, even when Fritz somehow gets a highly regarded player from the area, they end up transferring (Dixon).
If K-State/Mizzou/KU could lock down KC, any of them could be elite programs.
Alas...
