reads like b12 presidents will decide on schedule monday ...
The Big 12's athletic directors were split Friday while meeting to recommend which scheduling model the conference should use in a 2020 season that remains in flux amid the coronavirus pandemic. The conference is currently considering two primary options: a complete 12-game season or a 10-game schedule including one nonconference opponent, several league sources tell CBS Sports.

my own view is that we won't play until spring after a vaccine has been approved and sticks.

Why is there something rather than nothing?

I think you are right. Look at what is happening right now with the MLB and game postponements, players opting out, etc. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see another game played until the fall of 2021.
If per chance we do have a regular schedule, we shouldn't have any trouble finding a replacement for Vandy.

It will be interesting to see who is the plus 1. No sec, no big10, no pac10, . I don't know about the acc. Independents like Norte dame maybe. Would be cool if every big 12 team each played Norte dame.

Some Cat football is better than none. The bummer is no national championship for us this year.
Notre Dame will be playing the majority of their schedule in the ACC this season only.

2 less home games. I sure hope they adjust ticket prices, assuming they sell them, to account for the less games.
I also really hope they play Buffalo. Better game, better opponent, better SOS (if needed) and if it comes down to it, probably costs more to cancel then North Dakota's buyout.

why not? we end up with 'best record' don't care if those other leagues 'passed'.
to the bold and victorious go the spoils.

It is really cute that you think fans will be able to attend games, let alone that there will be games to attend. There is no 'buyout' as contract language allows for games to be canceled if the league makes changes like this.AJcat7755 wrote: ↑August 4th, 2020, 12:23 pm2 less home games.
