Why would we possibly want to weaken our conference by letting NU and MU in?

Yeah, we’d dominate NU. Nobody beats us 100 times in a row.

and yet, HYPE, we were 4-3, should have been 5-2 over last 7 meetings with NU. would have won 5 out of 7 but for 5-6 plays being over-turned by booth review on final NU drive of the game. in Lincoln. was there. north endzone.

have to be philosophical about these things: they didn't want to be here, can't believe they'd want to come back. and just like ex-girlfriends and ex-wives - we ought to be smart enough to know if it didn't work the first time it won't work the second time.

that hot, crazy 20 something GF from 15 years ago? now she's just crazy. and not at all worth the drama.
If you have to be persuaded, reminded, pressured, lied to, incentivized, coerced, bullied, socially shamed, guilt-tripped, threatened, punished and criminalized...you can be absolutely certain that what is being promoted is not in your best interest

I was being facetious ... I won’t bother to post the series record since we all know how bad it is.

Frankly, they made a big mistake leaving the Big 12. They should have stayed put where they were one of the dominant programs. They turned into a small fish in a big pond up north where there is a different style of play that they can’t compete with.

the opening post was about how sir logic might place teams in conferences across the country, nothing more. it's not happening. no one has proposed it.

have to qualify 'overall' in there. last 10 years before they left 'for glory', not so much

absolutely. aparently 'glory' has not been as 'glorious' as imagined. for any school that left.
