Over the past few months, I have been finding myself kind of going through the classic stages of loss. I am past denial, bargaining and being depressed at the thought of no football this fall and have started moving on to acceptance. I believe it was last month, the California State University system said that it was unlikely they would have in-person classes this fall. That was a harbinger of things to come. I guess we will have to see what the coming weeks bring, but this is an ominous sign.

We can still hope for a FB season. It's still 90 days away, but the window is closing.

I'm still on the whole play in the spring bandwagon. Why is that so hard? It is the wisest path to take.

Why make these decisions in June, maybe I am missing something, but can't they wait until closer to the season to see what happens with the virus?

would folks consider a season played without fans in the stands? big hit to local economies. big hit to revenues from parking, concessions, tix.ToledoCat#3 wrote: ↑June 17th, 2020, 3:36 pmWe can still hope for a FB season. It's still 90 days away, but the window is closing.
BUT TV audiences would be HUGE. would there be a way to harness that as a neuvo income stream/model?
Might be a huge opportunity for pay TV and frankly, without overhead of concessions, etc, might create MORE revenue for the programs?

golf doesn't need an audience. they're always 'shoooing' them anyway.
Why is there something rather than nothing?
