Ranke's Medical Hardship Approved
Rachel Ranke has just tweeted (@ranke_12) that her medical hardship was approved. This means she has two years of eligibility left. Great news!
yes, i think many of us had taken this as a given, but now it is official. let's hope she can have two great years without illness or injury. this team will need her leadership.

I also think we are going to see a more mobile version of Ranke who is a consistent threat as a scorer.

she's now a much more mature young woman. age and injuries do that to us. i look forward to watching her star these last two years. k-state really missed her range last season.
Why is there something rather than nothing?
Glad to hear she got the medical, I hope she comes back healthy and I am looking forward to seeing what this team has to offer. We have the pieces, but some of them need to take the next step. Ranke and Carr need to be leaders, Yoki needs to be Yoki, one of the forwards need to take some pressure off Yoki. Maybe not be a big scorer but rebound and be a threat to score if they collapse. I am optimistic about this group and hope they get to play.
