I agree with puffdad. The cream will rise to the top. At this point, it probably doesn't matter who starts, it matters who finishes. There's no reason, if we have a good number of players who can produce, they can't be interchanged throughout the game. You go with the guys who are producing in any particular game. If you have 9 players doing well, then bring in a fresh group every few minutes to keep players fresh and motivated.

Murphy will be starting, the kids a stud. This is second team...I am bored. Ha!
I guess that is a real testament to how deep this roster is because that second team has some guys who may well be first team guys. I will be a little surprised if neither Donovan nor Selton is a first team guy, for example. Then again, the actual first team you were backing up (Kaosi, Murphy, DJG, McGuirl, and Pack) makes pretty good sense as well. And that still leaves Levi, Kasubke, and Lewis on the bench. Wow.

Thats weird Rodney averaged 5 mins more per game than Chris that year. Where were you sitting? JHR also played 2/3 of the minutes colon did so he wasn't wasting away on the end of the bench.

I will still be surprised if D. Williams comes to K-State, since his stated goal is to get to the NBA as quickly as he can. He would have a lot of competition for playing time, but maybe he's that confident and that good. Perhaps we'll see. I like Weber. He is going to have his hands full next year trying to satisfy everyone with playing time. Greg Marshall said WSU had so many defections this year because players were not satisfied with 25 minutes of playing time. Assuming Weber sticks with his typical rotation of 8-9 players getting most of the playing time, I wouldn't be surprised to see several transfers after next season. I hope I am wrong and that everyone finds a role that satisfies them . If they do, we could be in for a great stretch of basketball. Williams might be a gem or he might be unhappy with what he perceives as too little playing time, but he likely wouldn't be the only one. It will, no doubt, be an interesting season...assuming we have one.

If Williams truly is an NBA talent, then it will show, and he will play. A guy like that is not going to sit. On the other hand, if he's not, and he's overvalued himself, and college basketball is tougher than he thought it would be, it doesn't really matter where he would have signed. He'd still get the same cold slap of reality. In the end, I think the pandemic caused him to choose the closest option. Nothing I know, just a hunch.

how would we collect on your guarantee though?
Lol, you love to try to collect on bets you don't have the guts to make. Are you saying no one will transfer out of this 8 man class at the end of next year?
you lowered the expectation? :D

that comment was based on rewatching the ncaa tournament game v. xavier. merriweather had 16 mins and rodney had 2.

Regarding Merriweather and Colon. Every minute they got was too many for me.
