Very nice turnaround. Would be fortuitous to get into the Big 12 bracket opposite Baylor

Good game to win.
Similarity between men's team and the women's team...bad passing

I caught the last 6-7 game minutes and Williams had some really bad turnovers in the last 2-3 minutes (but, she also made a huge 3 down the stretch). Like the men, there are stretches where they simply don't value the ball - just very undisciplined.
But, a win's a win and they found a way.

Unfortunately not going to happen. They’re locked into the 4 or 5 seed. It’s. Between them and ISU. Teams are tied at 9-8, both 2 games back of Texas for 3rd and 2 games ahead of 6th place.PurpleOnWhite wrote: ↑March 3rd, 2020, 10:34 pmVery nice turnaround. Best they can realistically hope to do is make the Big12 semis. Not sure if that will be enough to make the big dance.

women are on another season-ending run. nice to see. finishing off with win over ku will give them credentials for ncaa dance card. and losing to baylor in the b12 tournament won't hurt.
overall, this has been a pretty good, not great, but good year if they get in the tournament. remember, the best 3-point shooter, rachael ranke, was lost to a season-ending injury.

Why is there something rather than nothing?
I doubt this team makes the NCAA even if they win their next two games and then lose to Baylor in the Big 12 tourney. Too many bad losses earlier in the year will kill their chances to do that. Looks like NIT to me.

That’s my concern as well.

For what it's worth, the ESPN bracketology (updated today) doesn't have K-State in, nor are they listed as the first four out or the next four out...
