Help is on the way
It looks like this guy can get his own shot and has a good shooting form. He also has the moxie that difference makers need to have.

The team needs a leader. It just isn't in Sneeds personality. I feel for him having to step up to all the post-game news conferences.
Idk if any of the freshmen can step up to be leaders. it doesn't look like any body else on the team can. Tough for the new guys coming in to lead unless they are really special. I am very impressed w Pack & Miguel. Pack is probably more of a candidate to lead because of the language barrier. Miguel's english is fine, but I never played with anyone that english wasn't their primary language.
Hopefully someone steps up next year. If not, Weber and the staff will need to do a much better job leading themselves.

I’m hoping we see some new staff. They aren’t getting it done imo. (Bruce is safe for the time being.)

I think this young man is going to start from day one. He’s already very well put together, so I think he will be able to handle the physicality without having to even do much in weight room. I think he’s also going to come in with a lot of confidence and not be intimidated at all by the players in the league or at the D1 level.
Hopefully some of the others will be as ready.

We need a guy or guys that can make plays and make shots. If Sneed was making shots and we were winning, we would be praising his leadership.
Having a team hold together and keep playing hard while losing games also requires leadership. I don't see guys dogging it, jacking up shots to get their own, etc. I see too many turnovers, too many missed shots and too much dropping off shooters to help inside. A leader can not correct any of that unless you have players with the skills to do it in the first place.

I think some of the turnovers spring from frustration of trying to find someone who can knock a shot down.xtrawildcat wrote: ↑February 25th, 2020, 4:27 pmWe need a guy or guys that can make plays and make shots. If Sneed was making shots and we were winning, we would be praising his leadership.

If the incoming freshman can shoot I want them playing from the start. I don't care if they can't guard my mother, lets play zone to protect them. Basketball is supposed to be entertaining and that's what bring's fans to the games. I can't stand to watch this team, it's too painful.
