I knew that would bring them out. Look I have no feelings on Mittie one way or another. I just know he signed an extension last year so I doubt he’s going anywhere anytime soon unless he leaves on his own accord.
Kinda like a few wins brought you out?

I, too, doubt he’s going anywhere. Seems as if the non-rev (or loss) sports really don’t mean much in the overall athletic department psyche, although there is no shyness about asking for facility upgrades.

I don't think Jeff Mittie is poor coach or a bad coach, but he is merely a mediocre coach. As for being a motivator I have not seen much evidence of this aspect from him. I agree with P-O-W that Gene Taylor does not have much use for non-revenue sports and women's sports in particular, so we are probably going to have to live with what we've got, at least for a few more years.

1 step forward 1 step back. I guess if your expectations for our Women's basketball team is .500 than you are ecstatic with the win. I have higher expectations. And yes, Taylor doesn't give a crap about non revenue sports. Obviously.

KU beat Texas. I would have been disappointed if we lost.
