Ladies pick up a hard fought 87-85 win in OT at Norman. Huge game for Williams with 31 and 19 and Lee with 24 and 13. Sweep the Sooners two years in a row!!

Everything seems to be coming together for Sav Simmons. She isn't gonna be a big time scorer, but she makes good passes and plays under control. Her development is crucial, if for no other reason than it keeps the Beards, Goodrichs, Mackes, and Chapmans, who give us virtually nothing but turnovers, on the bench.

Nice win. That’s back to back road wins, have won 3 of last 4 and 5 of last 7. Sitting in 5th and just a half game back of ISU for 4th and 1 game back of UT for 3rd.

At least one of the cats b-ball teams is showing a pulse and has something to really play for.

Take on TCU next on Wednesday in Manhattan. They are in 2nd and the ladies only lost to them by 4 at TCU.

Why was Harris guarding a shooter so close that she drew a foul? We are ahead by 4 and even if she hit it we win. Could have hit the shot and got an and 1 to tie the game. Just seemed really dumb to me.

Can someone explain our play call with about 25 seconds left in regulation? We call a TO so we are inbounding in front of our bench , and we run a play for Simmons, who should be the 5th option on the court at that time, she drives and gets her shot thrown.

I came out of my freakin seat. That question should have been asked and I want to hear the response. How with the game on the line you have Simmons as your option is just plain awful.

good point. the only possible way we could have lost the game. a 4th year senior should not make that mistake. williams was great. that is the kind of leadership we need from her every game. she totally took the game over in the 2nd half and said "we are not going to lose".

sorry pipe, my reply was to the post before yours. while i have been campaigning for simmons to be our 5th starter and main player every since ranke got hurt, i too was completely astounded wnen i saw that play. i don' know if there was supposed to be a roll to the basket and a lob that got jammed up or what. if. in fact, it was a designed play for simmons, it makes no sense at all in that situation. if i get a chance i will ask the question.
