Re: Recruiting Thread
I'm excited to see how the two from Shadow Creek Tx impact the Cats. That team was big and fast and those two guys were the best guys they had.
A person can be a socialist in a capitalist society, but a person is not allowed to be a capitalist in a socialist society.
Ah, that makes sense.AJcat7755 wrote: ↑February 13th, 2020, 1:42 pmMaybe they are going to pull a Sam Shields and try to get him in as a blue shirt. They can visit with the kid unofficially because it's in the same city and they can say they are just checking out the local team. In that case, they wouldn't want to give an official offer.

Jaylin Noel released his Top 6 with KSU making the cut.
KU, Memphis, South Dakota State are his 3 other offers he didn't list in his top 6.

KU making news thanks to their own writer Newell (open in a private window). Seems like odd timing to put out this article in a pretty slow time for football and when everyone is focused on basketball. This seems like it would have been a story back when it happened, or near signing day.

Bowen also left KU, and he was their local recruiter for better or worse, I don't know who has the responsibility now. ISU still is a big factor in KC thanks to Scheelhaase and MU's new staff is going to hit KC hard as well.
Will have to see how this all affects the 2021 class in KC.

The way KSU uses TE could be a good selling point, but always have to think the local MU has the edge with these players.

Seems like a pretty strong chance that Austin Weiner commits to KSU. Not only is he the son of former KSU Todd Weiner, he moved from Georgia to KS to player at Gardner Edgerton where 2021 verbal KSU commit Davonte Pritchard, 2020 KSU commit Talor Warner is from and Mark Simoneau is the performance coach at Gardner Edgerton. Oh and Jordan Willis is also in there as well. Seems like a solid of bet as any out there.
