Yeah and they made it to the sweet 16 3 out of those 4 years instead of getting bounced in the 1st rd.

If I had to rank my personal level of accomplishments from most important to least:
NC
NC Runner Up
Final 4
Regular Season Conference Championship
Elite 8
Sweet 16
Conference Tournament Championship
Round of 32
Round of 64
NIT Championship
Play In Game
For example, I would much rather my team win the NIT, then lose in a play in game even though they can say they made the tournament. It's gets a little tricky with the Round of 64 for me. On one hand, I would rather make the "real" tournament and have a shot at a NCAA championship, but on the other hand, is a Round of 64 upset better then winning the whole NIT and taking home a trophy and experience?
For things like the S16 and E8, no one really talks about those as much. It's NC and how many F4 a team has made. So a conference championship is longer living in history, and takes a good season, and not just winning 2/3 games.
And despite what ISU fans think, a conference tournament championship is not better then winning the regular season

That's pretty good, I'd put regular season conf championship behind elite 8 and slightly ahead of sweet 16.AJcat7755 wrote: ↑February 13th, 2020, 3:05 pmIf I had to rank my personal level of accomplishments from most important to least:

Taking your switch, and applying KSU v. WVU since 2012 (I removed ones that neither had points in for simplicity)
KSU:
1 - Elite 8
2 - Regular Season Conference Championship
1 - Sweet 16
1 - Round of 32
4 - Round of 64
1 - Play In Game
WVU:
0 - Elite 8
0 - Regular Season Conference Championship
3 - Sweet 16
3 - Round of 32
4 - Round of 64
0 - Play In Game
Which would fans prefer as a set of accomplishments since 2012?

WVU has also been to a Final Four in my lifetime.

Kudos for the last couple of posts. Good thoughts and information. Took a little effort and I appreciate it.

Honestly the faceplanting after both conf championships take the sheen off them for me. I just can't understand not being ready to play those games and putting forth a putrid performance both those years. Doing it once is bad enough but doing it twiceAJcat7755 wrote: ↑February 13th, 2020, 6:11 pmTaking your switch, and applying KSU v.
