Currently with 5 signed to this recruiting cycle, but Bruce is wanting to sign 7. Which means Shadd/Love + 1 other guy to attrition. I don't see the other guy being a PG(Sloan, Diarra), as otherwise Bruce would probably be looking to sign another PG. I also wouldn't think our freshmen would be leaving figuring the minutes they are getting. It points to McGurl or Stockard, both which will be seniors. Stockard is in a position of need, so I don't see him going anywhere. Which points to McGurl which makes sense from an over-recruiting aspect, but not with him becoming a senior without a redshirt year. Of course, it's all speculation. There may be a surprise. I do like that Bruce is getting the best talent available

What about Donovan Williams? Which would we rather have. Maybe we get neither.

Ah, I don’t look at those sites much so I completely missed the “fan” part on the futurecast. Thought it was all so called recruiting gurus with predictions. So yeah, that doesn’t mean much.
But still would be great if it’s accurate

There is always the possibility of Ezeagu leaving or being shown the door if he doesn't measure up, as you mentioned earlier.KsJoey wrote: ↑January 21st, 2020, 11:19 amCurrently with 5 signed to this recruiting cycle, but Bruce is wanting to sign 7. Honestly think it depends on the recruit.
Yesterday Donovan Williams tweeted that his recruiting was 100% open even though he has already said this.
Possibly could mean that he is not as interested in KState, and the fight could be a factor.

I would be surprised if it has any effect on recruiting. Outside of the 2 players, there's really nothing else effected, especially not next year. I understand the perception side of things, but again, outside of the beaker fans opinion, most of the negative perception is going towards them. SDS started it by taunting and getting a T, KU was the only team that threw punches, and the chair over the head image that is everywhere... the list goes on. Just another occurrence(in a long list) displaying KU as a dirty program that lacks self control. Just my 2 cents.
