Re: The fight
What's funnier is that the wonderful "KU announcer" said it was a good block when it is as plain as day that the other KU player grabbed the KSU player's arm with the ref right there.

What do you expect? ESPN has got to protect their investments.

My wife and I are laying in bed laughing about this post! LolLondoncat wrote: ↑January 21st, 2020, 11:13 pmRon Burgundy: Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
Champ Kind: It jumped up a notch.
Ron Burgundy: It did, didn’t it?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, I stabbed a man in the heart.
Ron Burgundy: I saw that. Brick killed a guy. Did you throw a trident?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident.
Ron Burgundy: Brick, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you’re probably wanted for murder.

Yeah whatever. They can call it an unwritten rule, but it’s not a rule period. As I already posted: It’s not illegal period. It’s not immoral period. And it’s not unethical period. If you want to call it unsportsmanlike, that’s your choice. It’s pretty weak in comparison to all the unsportsmanlike actions and antics you see going on in college sports. And if ku fans are upset about the steal they may want to look back to Brandon Greene’s dunk as they were dribbling out the clock and the KSU players were basically walking to the bench to shake hands. Funny, I don’t remember them knocking Greene down, standing over him and starting a fight.
No, D Gordon is not to blame for the terrible altercation that took place at the end of the game. The instigator for that would be DeSousa, plan and simple, end of story.

As far as I'm concerned, Silvio instigated the steal when he took his arm and pushed Gordon back. With five minutes left, that’s clearly whistled as a foul. I have no idea whether Gordon was walking up to him in order to steal the ball or just to give token defense. Once pushed back, he was probably determined to go after the ball.bhoovy wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2020, 12:29 amYeah whatever. They can call it an unwritten rule, but it’s not a rule period. Its not like UK was down at the end. They had 2 hard blocks on Shadd in one possession.
