Re: Recruiting Thread
There is a lot to like about Donovan Williams. If he commits, I think he would be the best player in this class, and I think he definitely has a shot at a pro career in the NBA. KSU being so close to home will be a big asset in recruiting him. However, he could probably better than here, and he already has an offer from Texas so I'm sure other schools will follow. Really hope Bruce can bring him in though.
This aggressive recruiting makes me think that Diarra might be the one to leave. He doesn't have a lot more to prove and he might see that now is the best time to go pro.

On Rivals, FanFutureCast gives KSU a 100% chance of commitment. Am I reading this wrong?

Don't think you are Dave. I could only find H.S. highlights on this kid. On that tape he appears to be a finesse guy. Highly skilled especially when shooting it but not too physical and not a guy who lives in the lane and likes to get down and dirty defending the rim. Long and skinny in the film but did show ability to block shots. Coach Weber seems to be drawn to this type of big man. Granted I only saw a little H.S. film but this is what he appears to be. But a 6-11 guy who can handle the ball and shoot the 3 and mid range jumper may be a great stretch 4. Fortunately both Bradford and Ezeagu appear to be more the down & dirty types. You gotta give the staff credit, they are really trying to rectify our muddle in the middle.

That does appear to be their forecast. And up against several other nice offers.

I guess the best way to find good bigs is to recruit about 20 of them, and hope that one or two work out.
We may have figured out the formula. Attrition.

The FanFutureCast doesn't really mean much. But if you start seeing other predictions, then that's a good thing. I think Linguard is planning on visiting T A&M as well, so there's definitely competition.
He is an interesting prospect. It's easy to see why the staff likes him. Plus he'll have 3 years to play which is nice.

The FanFutureCast is just what fans log into and make their meaningless predictions. It's just being hopetimistic!pulitzerdave wrote: ↑January 21st, 2020, 10:26 amOn Rivals, FanFutureCast gives KSU a 100% chance of commitment. Am I reading this wrong?

K-Staters could flood in on the Bronny James recruiting page, but I'd be my bottom dollar he doesn't go to KSU.

This exactly. The fan cast is worthless. Anyone with an account can make a vote.JOKKO wrote: ↑January 21st, 2020, 11:11 amThe FanFutureCast is just what fans log into and make their meaningless predictions. It's just being hopetimistic!pulitzerdave wrote: ↑January 21st, 2020, 10:26 am
