if we lost by 9 points and shot 12/24 then that would trouble me more , so there is some solace :?

I thought we shot too many 3's when we weren't hitting and should have tried to get the ball inside more. We were successful inside with Williams with 19 points and Lee with 15. I was very disappointed with the officiating in this game. Arkansas got away with numerous travels, and two of the fouls against Lee were ridiculous.

This game goes down to the wire with even "poor" 3 pt shooting. We were atrocious from 3 today. Gotta get more from Carr and Ranke to keep teams from just packing it inside. 90% of Carr and Rankes offense is the 3 ball and neither of them showed up in that regard today. They were starting to look more consistent from deep, but today they looked more like the streaky shooters of last year, who may or may not contribute on any given night.

Horrendous three point shooting killed any chance of winning. Arkansas sagged on the bigs, at times Lee was tripled teamed. Ball handling wasn't very good either

No focus, no leadership, no fundamentals, and no winning attitudes, it’s just another Mattie team. We have some highly rated players , and an all American, but Mittie does’t have the ability to teach game fundamentals or a fiery attitude to win.
I think if Shayle, Kimberly, Kendra or any of the other greats would have played under Mittie, they would have lost. Seems Mittie doesn’t know how to recruit and form into a leadership that one girl who would lead the team to a win no mater the circumstances. In fact Mittie seems to repel those type of girls. Shayle and Emile both walked away from Mittie, under different capacities.

Uh, Kayla Goth wuz a pretty good leader the last 2 years under Mittie. The little 3 point Ace from KC ahead of her was pretty fiery and a good leader. Someone will emerge as the on-floor leader of this team.

i was at the game. arkansas has one great shooter and k-state never ever adjusted to her defensively. i'm not impressed with mittie's coaching at all.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

Kala was a decent leader. she wasn't that girl who would ttake the team on her shoulders and win, no mater the circumstances. The team had internal problems last year, its carried to this year. If their had been any leadership last year or this year, those problems would have been taken care of.
