It was conservative, but it was effective. I don’t fault Messingham at all today, great game!bhoovy wrote: ↑November 30th, 2019, 10:25 pmDidn’t say it didn’t. But was it not conservative? Didn’t say it was good or bad just conservative.Ksuminnesotacat wrote: ↑November 30th, 2019, 10:16 pm
And does it still not make it a two score game? I’m sure Bill would have pulled a quarterback read out of his rear for a real dazzler of a finish.

What are you the post police?Ksuminnesotacat wrote: ↑November 30th, 2019, 10:27 pmThen leave unimaginative out savvy, Bill ain’t coming back get on the train and enjoy the ride.
There’s was nothing wrong with it. Try just taking care of your own post and what words you use.
It’s was unimaginative. Very simple. Very easy to defend. But if he was comfortable with getting the fg, barring the oline blowing a whole in a 8-9 man front then so be it, it worked. Get off your self righteous high horse.

It's still all about style points. That's why Bama and Ohio State try to run up the score on everybody. They still use that eye test to rank teams. How else could a team like Utah be rated so high? They haven't beaten a top 25 team all year.Ksuminnesotacat wrote: ↑November 30th, 2019, 10:33 pmThis reminds me of the bcs days gotta win with style points or somehow it’s not a win, lolz.

We were picked to finish 9th prior to the season. Texas 2nd, and Iowa State 3rd. We will finish tied for 3rd if the OU-OSU score holds up. We will also finish ahead of Texas and Iowa State. Remarkable season.
