the tip-off banquet was a really fun event. good to see all the former players back. brings back a lot of good memories. hopefully this year will add to the good memories.

jalana childs, marliese gipson, kimberly dietz (holding child), and shalee lehning. the core of the last b12 championship team. shalee is my all-time favorite wbb player. i just loved her attitude, moxie, and game. they won the b12 title at ku. ku refused to allow them to receive the championship trophy on the phoggy court even though there were more k-state fans than squawks in attendance that evening, including me.

Where is Shalee now -- still attached at the hip to Patterson? I think I heard that she might be out of coaching.

Know what career Shalee is pursuing now?
Personally, I wish she was coaching somewhere. I think she'd have been a great coach. Best to her in her present career.

i talked to her mom a while back. a devote catholic, shalee has dedicated her life to working with battered women and in the pro-life movement.
