skylar ranked top qb ...

MANHATTAN, KS (KSNT) – K-State is 3-0 and Skylar Thompson has taken his game to another level. Pro Football Focus ranks Thompson as the highest-graded quarterback in the country after three weeks. Thompson is completing nearly 68% of his passes, up almost 10% from last season.

Sweet. Hope he keeps it up for the next 18 months.

Skylar's passes have been right on target so far this year. Too bad our freshman had a couple of big drops in game 1, although he's been great since then.

Skylar seems to be getting the "big head" a bit. A QB with a bit of swagger is fine, but not to the point that it primes the opposition with blackboard material. Might want to tone it down a bit.

I haven’t seen anything from him that was anything other than being pretty humble. Didn’t I miss something? Seems to be very team oriented. If there was a quote or something, can you link it?

Please provide an example.

I kind of thought the same thing Toledo. Sometimes it is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. I think Skylar is OK, just needs to get accustomed to his new found level of play. Based on what the coaches say he has it together and will likely learn to kind of downplay his success. You're only as good as your last game.

I’ll make it a third.

Some of the media had pumped him up but I’ve not heard him say a word that would indicate he’s gotten a bit of a big head.
