When they were all healthy it was a heck of a team.

I don't know how many games I watched last season where at some point I thought they just had no chance. Then the momentum would slowly, slowly turn. It was NEVER comfortable, but it happened again and again. Really one of the most memorable teams I've followed in all the years (never mind how many!). It was a clinic.

To start out with two league losses and then go on the run they did was beautiful to watch.

That WVU game was the start of it. Down 20 at half and looking dead and like an 0-3 start to the conference season was inevitable.

ESPN has been doing their top 20 games from last year and I’ve seen the Cats are at least two of them. The win vs TCU at home and the loss at Lubbock. Not really sure why the TCU game was in their top 20.

I noticed that ESPNU was carrying a Cleveland Summer League game, so I decided to tune in to see Dean. This must have been one of the games where he was contractually not obligated to play, because he remained on the bench. But what I saw was not basketball. It was nothing more than a McDonalds All American game with older players. It bordered on ridiculous. There is more passing in a YMCA pick-up game. If this is a way to evaluate a player, then they are wasting their time. It would be a lot less expensive to just set up a series of one-on-one games and perhaps a few sessions of "horse". I turned it off after about 20 minutes because I didn't recognize the game they were playing.
Yea, I watched two quarters the other night. Dean played about a quarter of that time. The game is going down hill very badly. Yea, I know some teams like Golden State, etc., still play some sort of basketball, but it was all I could do to get through two quarters.

Since Dean is under contract already, I assume he is busy getting ready to report to Cleveland (he may be there already). He probably also has to attend the rookie symposiums that are going on around this time.

But I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about Barry or Kam? I thought Barry might have done enough during summer league to get a training camp invite, but I haven’t heard anything. And surely Kam is going to get an opportunity overseas.

Dean has been in Cleveland working out with the other rookies for a couple weeks. No big news that I know of. Said it’s been going well! “Living the good life!” is the last he told me.

Happy to hear that things are going well for Dean. Thanks for the update.

Barry mentioned on the KSU twitter page that he will be in Manhattan to pick up his championship ring and see the first football game.
