Congrats to Henderson and Southwell!
Henderson should be able to move up to the assistant coach job seamlessly with his background and his time at KSU. Southwell meanwhile takes another step on the road to a coaching career. Congrats to both guys!

Coach Weber is very loyal to the persons who report to him.
I like that.

particularly happy for southwell, a guy i've rooted for since he signed on to #emaw.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

I was very impressed with Henderson at the basketball banquet. He was well spoken, witty and sharp. I'm extremely happy about Shane. Like tmcats stated, I've liked him since he came to Manhattan.

It’s a good story with Henderson, that any Wildcat fan would like. However, I still wish we could have brought in somebody with strong recruiting ties that can help Weber more than the current staff has been able to do. I understand the Loyalty aspect, but still, Weber needs help recruiting & signing players, first and foremost and Henderson doesn’t bring much of anything in that aspect. Sure he will have an opportunity to prove himself though, starting basically at ground zero.
This all feels a little Bill Snyder-like. Again, not always bad, just more of the same on the recruiting trail.
