The former 4* back is graduate transferring to K-State for his last year.

well, depth shouldn't be an issue this fall assuming all these guys are healthy.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

2019 RB Depth:
rSR - James Gilbert
SR - Jordan Brown
rJR - Harry Trotter (walkon)
rJR - Tyler Burns (walkon)
rSO - Bernardo Rodriguez (walkon) (former punter)
rFR - Michael Warmack (walkon)
True freshman in 2019 - Joe Ervin, Clyde Price, Thomas Grayson, Jacardia Wright
True freshman in 2020 - Chris Vaughn

Given that there are some concerns about Wright and Ervin being eligible, I would say it's a safe bet that at least 2 of the incoming freshman RB either RS, change position (LB), or aren't eligible in 2019. Although even if they RS, they will see action in the 4 games allowed. Jax Dineen may also get a few touches from a FB position.

From his highlights, he should start from what I have seen. Wander why he didnt see more time at UNC? buried under other guys? Looks like a great get to bridge the gap.

I had to go check out his highlights on the Youtube machine...

I gotta say...not a bad guy to have for a year under a new regime. His stats weren't gaudy and the clips weren't flashy. However...he looks to be a hard runner who does not like to go down on contact. He makes a defender work. I believe an announcer at one point said he was averaging over 5 yards a carry. I didn't really notice break away speed, but he's got soft hands and good vision. It reminded me a little bit of Scobey.

My greatest takeaway was what he did after plays. Bounced up, handed the ball to the ref, and ran back to where the huddle would be. Looks like he enjoys the game.

Nice pick-up!

Obviously his highlights on his twitter are his best runs, but they do look pretty good. Looks faster and more physical than Gilbert.

He did start 12 games his SO year getting 138 carries with 2nd and 3rd most carries being 97 and 85 (QB carries). However, the next year, UNC got a RB transfer from Ohio State, a much larger RB, so the carries got evened out among 3 RBs with them getting 91, 84 and 81 carries apiece with a smaller, speed back, getting into the mix as well.

UNC fired Larry Fedora and brought in Mack Brown, which could have also contributed to him wanting to move.

Looks to be a great pick up so late , and at a position we need. Heels always have good talent it just never seems translate to wins, most years. Anyone else excited about seeing Jax in a Wildcat uniform??? Aside from him turning his back on ku he looks to be a baller who loves contact. I think we see him on the field sooner than later.

This is a nice pickup, especially so late. Getting Gilbert was such a blessing with how thin we were at RB. Having Brown come in will provide much-needed depth, especially if Gilbert were to get injured. Hopefully, guys like Trotter and Burns will be ready to step up as well.

Welcome Jordan!
