Re: College Admissions Scandal
If the children are female, I wouldn't know why they would bother with a further education. All they have to do is walk down Rodeo Drive with their nipples exposed and they make millions (Kardashians).

there shouldn't be any question that money has its way from time-to-time. thankfully, there are regulators, like the fbi here and in mbb recruiting, that dampers the effects in our free society. a reminder, rich people walk in and out the lower level of bramlage. they rest of us go up and down the stairs.

And now the class action lawsuits are starting to come out. So much for the snobbish attitudes of higher learning. This might hurt a lot! The plaintiffs do have standing it seems in these cases. USC- Ucla- U-T A oh my.

If they are awarded damages where will the money come from? Private schools will raise tuition and public schools will spend taxpayer dollars. The only thing they will really get relief for is the application fee they paid. Looks like a way for attorneys to make money to me.

Harvard has an endowment larger than most countries economies. No? Do you think USC and UTA will be cash strapped for their behavior in this?

Here's where you blew it. You used a DJT, juvenile "punch line" (which many see as racist) to identify the person you used to make a comparison ... which actually has no merit or truth in the case you cited. Leave the P word out of the basketball forum, and get back to the discussion. Yours was a poor choice given today's inflammatory political climate.Hypeman wrote: ↑March 14th, 2019, 4:28 amI’m not sure this thread has anything to do with b-ball.pulitzerdave wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 11:43 pm
Utter nonsense. The reference or comparison was inappropriate. It was not only racist it was juvenile and ignorant. Keep this DJT crap off of the basketball forum.

This has to be hurting KU’s feelings. So far no one seems to have paid to play in Lawrence.

I don’t blow anything and I’m missing the racist part?pulitzerdave wrote: ↑March 14th, 2019, 11:53 amHere's where you blew it.
