Jay Bilas 1-68 Rankings
This is what he has to say about us.
If Dean Wade is healthy, the Wildcats can play with anyone. But Wade is doubtful for the Big 12 tournament because of an ailing foot, and it's worth wondering whether he's going to be right for the tournament. K-State is talented, but Wade's status means there's a high degree of volatility here.

That's a pretty insightful report -- I mean for a team he never heard of until he checked the Big 12 standing recently to see how Kansas was doing.

Without opening, the link let me guess. Dook #1, UNC #2, Va #3, Louisville #4, Maryland #5, NC State #6....

Nope, probably #1 UNC #2 Dook #3 UNC #4 Dook #5 Tie between UNC and Dook. This network is as bad as the actual cheating coaches. They know who is doing it and keep slobbing their knobs, then nationally blast our coach for trying to hold a kid to their commitment.hilltopwildcat wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 4:40 pmWithout opening, the link let me guess. I hope Bilas comes to Bramlage sometime (he won't because he is too elitist and chickencrap) and I hope our crowd gives him more than he can handle. What a smug jerkoff.

Fair enough. I mean, we've shown we can get to the Elite 8 without Wade, but it would take monster games from our other guys. This is a Top10 caliber team when everyone is healthy. When Wade is hurt, it's a Top 20-25ish teamFullypersuaded wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 3:16 pmThis is what he has to say about us.

bill snyder wouldn't allow a youngster to transfer without restrictions and made some "dopey" comments to the press along the way. it caused a media uproar. the media has a liberal bias that drifts into sports commentary from time-to-time. even our own ex-media dude, p'dave, drifts that way in his earlier comments in this thread about the president. espn has oft been accused of it causing them to lose viewership. whether that's true or not, i don't know.DeereCatFan wrote: ↑March 14th, 2019, 8:49 amWhat did I miss here? Snyder denied any promises of playing time during a local appearance Thursday night, and said he was merely standing by his policy regarding transfers. Snyder said he believes prospects make a commitment to the program when they sign a national letter of intent, just as he makes a commitment to them with a scholarship.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

I think there was also a WBB player that wanted to transfer about the time Patterson was fired and Mittie was brought in, and I think they wouldn't allow her transfer after Patterson' transfer.
Edit:
Ah yes, Leticia Romero: http://www.espn.com/womens-college-bask ... nsas-state
Went to Florida State and averaged 11.8 points and over 4.5 rebounds and assists per game. Made the WNBA last year.
