It isn't a matter of making money, it's more a matter of wisely managing the money the government. A businessman prexy should want to run the nation of a debt-free budget. I've been waiting for that to happen all my life.

The system isn't set up to accommodate that kind of long-range thinking nor responsibility.

Not a lot of truth to that assumption. Government isn’t a business? The goal of business is profit. Debt isn’t the same concept.

I barely made it through Econ 1 so l wont even put in my two cents on the Federal Budget.

What I would like to know is: If we have reached, what 20 trillion in debt over how many administrations, what would have to been eliminated along the way in the way of programs/wars/anything the government spends money on to have zero debt today?

The second question is: Does any major country in the world operate in the green?

I they want to have doctors and nurses to be employed and regulated by the federal government. Run if they say they need to use a rectal thermometer. Let's have a party. Here's a tray of 30.
