The bad things about factory farms are the way the animals are treated. Pretty controversial.

farming, however, and factory farming I think is often connected to corporate farming and the 'death of the family farm'

while folks seem to overlook that MOST family farms have incorporated for tax purposes and are run by primarily family members.

so in many ways, Willie (Nelson) can suck it.

Socialism (liberalism) just wants to tax the farm until its owned by the state.

Well, no. At least try to be accurate. Socialism isn't liberalism. Don't you care about truth or do you just follow the Trump rule of making it up as you go along?

Well, I think the large corporate agribusiness industry is manipulating capitalism. So, we don't really have capitalism do we. Not with Monsanto using power to put small farmers out of business.\

Thank you for this post. It is an interesting case to me.
Although, I don't like the Supreme court ruling against the farmer Bowman, it was the correct ruling. Monsanto had a patent on the soybeans he bought from the local elevator and he knew that. He planted them and therefore created a copy of Monsantos patented soybean and then sold or used those beans. Just like I can not buy a patented manufactured item and make copies of it. I can do what ever I want to with the original product but I can't make copies. That is what Bowman did and the Supreme Court ruled against him.

Regarding large corporate agribusiness manipulating capitalism. IMO, they are competing in the market place with other companies. Those that provide the best service, product and end benefit to both farmers and consumers will succeed. Those that don't go out of business. Plenty of examples of corporate agribusiness that have gone out of business due to competition beating them.

For example, this article outlines some of the competition for the soybean seed market by various companies. All of them trying to find the soybean yield, disease and weed control options that will create demand for their patented genetic trait.

I am being accurate. Liberalism is just a step before socialism. and two steps before communism. Seems every one of your presidential candidates pro-port to be liberals except one, yet they are ALL for a complete takeover of the capitalism system. So I ask you, why does every one of the democrats candidates claim to be liberal, yet are for the complete take over of the capitalistic system?

Don't forget the domino theory. Since north Vietnam won that war, we should be communist already per that theory.
