O.K., we aren't as bad a Chile and some other small countries on total cases per 1 million. Complete failure by government and the public.

Yeah, so when you have political people fudging numbers in the hospitals, like this

it is kinda hard to pin down what is actually happens.

You lefties are all over 'mask deniers' but do a pretty good job of pushing 'data enablers'. Hopefully, while the virus is still active, we will get the real data.

Study of excess deaths in 2020 compare to prior years by Yale shows Covid deaths are likely undercounted.

The study was supported by the National Institute of Health.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/01/officia ... finds.html

The 781,000 total deaths in the United States in the three months through May 30 were about 122,300, or nearly 19% higher, than what would normally be expected, according to the researchers. Of the 122,300 excess deaths, 95,235 were attributed to Covid-19, they said. Most of the rest of the excess deaths, researchers said, were likely related to or directly caused by the coronavirus.
There's going to be A LOT of data to unpack when this is all said and done. Wish I could say it would be done in a nonpartisan fashion, but alas....

You seem to think that the left is willing to put that cat back in the bag?

Prediciton: The only way the left will be willing to discuss the real numbers is if Biden wins. Covid 19 and race are the left's two big preferred hammers on Trump that they think is working right now, and even if Biden wins, we will get four years of Trump's screw up on covid in the model of Obama crying foul of Bush. the real numbers will come out, but not becuase the left wants it to happen. And with denying that the protests might be a cause of the spread and spikes should indicate to you that the left will never get to the real numbers. Fauci has the left's back on that.

Your faith in your ideology is sorely misplaced.

This post and the thread illustrates why the US is the worse in the world. We have made a pandemic a left versus right issue. That the silliest made up manipulation of stupid people.

You lament the left versus right and then refer to stupid people. And we all know who you think the 'stupid people are.' You'll figure it out some day, but it might interest you to know just because someone picks a side, it doesn't automatically make someone stupid. Only stupid people would belive that.
