I think Lindsay knows we just have to do it. The democratic party only want to disrupt. They don't want Trump to accomplish anything. Many on the right have said that if Trump wants to be re-elected he has to get the wall built so the Democrats have united to stop it at all costs. Just get it done and worry about the fallout later. Otherwise nothing will get done. I do not believe President Trump just wants the fight. He has already accomplished most of his goals, and he will get the wall as well.

If Trump builds the wall through executive action while leaving the government closed, he will never be reelected. People will take to the streets. He'd be lucky to get reelected as it is.

He had two fulls years of a compliant Congress. Funding the Wall simply wasn't a priority for him. Fact. He wants the fight, not the wall.

These are BS arguments. He may have had a majority but you forget that many of the Republicans are part of the swamp. He has had to fight the Democrats, the Socialists, the never Trumpers, the corrupt bureaucracy, most of the media, and a lot of the Republicans. In spite of all this he has done more than our do-nothing government has accomplished in a very long time. The wall will be built with or w/o the cooperation of the left. How long will it take the electorate to see the truth? How long before they realize that they have been played for a long time. The Democrats lack ideas and the political will to make the tough choices. Just sit back and attack those who are sincerely trying to help our country.

He never even attempted to, therefore not a priority. Now....now that Democrats have control of the House it's an emergency. He wants the fight, not the wall, and the Loyalists have completely bought into it.

Will you ever acknowledge that "A big beautiful wall, paid for by Mexico" was always nothing more than a rhetorical device?

Just build it and they won't come. Did I really think we would have a 30ft. concrete wall from sea to shining sea? I don't know. I think we possibly could if the left cooperated. I really don't care. What I care about is stopping the influx of undocumented and unknown illegals. I really don't care how we stop them. What I did and do believe is that Donald Trump wants it stopped and is the only one running for the Presidency who was determined to do it. I think he will slow it to a trickle before he is done.

So you 'kind of" acknowledge that it was a rhetorical device.

If it was the driving reason behind his election, why didn't he act on it until after the midterms?
