No bacon sales allowed in CA. Woke nuts rule.

"At the beginning of next year, California will begin enforcing an animal welfare proposition approved overwhelmingly by voters in 2018 that requires more space for breeding pigs, egg-laying chickens and veal calves. National veal and egg producers are optimistic they can meet the new standards, but only 4% of hog operations now comply with the new rules. Unless the courts intervene or the state temporarily allows non-compliant meat to be sold in the state, California will lose almost all of its pork supply, much of which comes from Iowa, and pork producers will face higher costs to regain a key market."

Most pork-bacon come from farms that can't meet. CA law. So little or no pork/bacon sales in California.

I like bacon. Being real humane to a hog that is killed seems kind of goofy to me

Torturing animals is cool, especially in the name of money. Trump should use this in 2024

you seem to think Trump runs in 2024. or more accurately: gets the nomination.

I don't see it happening. he'd be essentially a one-term POTUS at that point and limited time to accomplish fixing what 80million voters broke.

I think the GOP nominee will be someone other than DJT.

sorry SKCS, not trying to go way off topic, but Nealy 'opened that door' with his 'hangry' response.

on a similar, but slightly different topic: no ANTIFA? no BLM? are they just resting up before they called upon to foment dishord once again before the 2022 elections? or will the dem power-brokers keep their powder dry and wait for 2024?

guess all the BLM, ANTIFA issues were solved with the election of Biden? all is now 'good'?

If you think butchering an animal for meat is torturing it, then I understand you much better, Nealy.

Butchering by its very definition is a bloody business, but most animals that are butchered are humanely dispatched.

It's hard to eat meat without some animal dying. That's just the way it is. Hard to eat most veggies without killing them, too.

Growing up on a hog farm, I had no thoughts of "cruelty" what-so-ever crating the farrowing sows. They would all too often kill the piglets if they weren't crated.

Trump has twice got the second fewest popular votes in an election. Is the GOP so short of candidates that they nominate him for a third time? Would seem if the party would come towards the center they would have success.
