This year's Christmas season Jared commercials are the worse. you love your woman, get her a $15,000 bracelet.
My wife would love to physically harm me if I did this.

In old age, responding to commercials by buying the product is mostly in the rear view mirror. But, hey, like it or not, advertising drives the bus in a free society.

the mayhem guy pitching insurance. absolutely drives me nutso. example of what's wrong with today's culture that that attracts buyers.
on the flip side is the insurance dude teaching us not to be our parents. i find that kind of self-deprecating humor unique and funny.
neither are woke which is sort of refreshing.

Corporate commercials are so progressive now I can't even stand to watch them. I mean, how many interracial couples do you see on TV vs. how many you actually see in real life? It's like every couple in commercials nowadays are a mixed one.
Not that there's anything wrong with that, if that's what floats your boat. It's just way too overdone IMO.

I now that HIV is a horrible disease to have, and I have compassion for people that do have it.
But all those "Prep" commercials are really troubling. I mean, most likely those actions caused you to have an incurable disease; you're going to continue because somehow you may be "undetectable"?

fifth avenue knows what sells. they are targeting commercials at behaviors, demographics, and interests of potential clients. in that way advertising reflects american values.KSUbetcha wrote: ↑November 6th, 2023, 6:03 amCorporate commercials are so progressive now I can't even stand to watch them. Lumi anti sweat cream.
Hefty gal points out where she sweats and uses the stuff.
Don't need to know about her sweaty butt crack .
This seems to air when I am eating.

That sounds like one of those "TMI" commercials.
