Losing Rice for the year is going to be tough. I would like to think that they kind of prepared for not having him in case Goodell suspended Rice for a long time over his moronic drag racing. Did Rice have a bad injury in college?
So now what? The Chiefs have retooled twice now after injuries with the additions of Ju-Ju SS and Hunt. Hunt looks like the #1 RB, averaging almost 5 yards per carry after 1 week of practice. It will be interesting to see what Veatch does and the adjustments Rieid makes.
Mahomes can play dink and doink offense and win a superbow. If he has time to pass. It still seemed the Oaf-fensive tackles had some problems. Thank goodness for the defense. The big contract for Jones looks like a good investment.

One thing no one seems to be talking about regarding the Rice injury is what was Mahomes doing down in scrum. He could have easily been the one who got hurt.
