the grammar is awful. it's being fixed this week. the "welcome to" piece will be removed, thankfully.

the sign said "aggieville" and underneath it "welcome to." it was horrible grammar. they got rid of the "welcome to" leaving "aggieville." this link might work better for you.

If we want to stop being perceived as hicks then a good first step would be to stop doing things like this.

sorry you feel that way but by default an aggie is synonymous to hick
