watched on espn+ which also carried the senior day recognition afterward. that was nice on both levels.

Very solid game by the lady cats.

Unfortunately ISU pulled off the 1980 USA hockey team miracle against Baylor and so the cats got the 4 instead of the 5 seed and lose out on the bye.

Not sure what you are talking about but yes they do get a bye. They play Iowa State Thursday

isu beat baylor in ames by one. monumental upset to some. but isu has an all-time b12 winning record versus baylor in ames.

great win yesterday. always great to stomp the hawks. this is a great group of girls and 3 special seniors. unfortunately the early season struggles have doomed any ncaa hopes but perhaps we can make a good run in the wnit and get several more home games in bramlage. by the way, the crowd yesterdaywas excellent. probably the best of the year.

maybe they get to the ncaa after all. but if not, this team is capable of winning the wnit.

Surely KU is looking for a new coach soon?

well, the direction is positive at ku. not sure about the finances over there though.

i once had an a.d. tell me firing a wbb coach is a non sequitur if there's money on the table. the sport loses money at almost every school and compounding that with buyouts is senseless financially.

k-state used to report wbb separately on its financials but stopped in 2018. the last reporting year was 2017 when the program had revenue of $370,000 and expenses of $3.7 million. very expensive.

it's a reason or example of why we don't have women's softball here. the numbers would be even more stark.
