jaelyn glenn, a 2021 k-state commit, scored a school record 58 points last night in a district playoff game. she and her twin sister brylee have been committed to k-state for over a year. she is a 6'1' guard and brylee is a 5'10" guard. jaelyn is ranked the #1 prospect in missouri and brylee is ranked #5. they are from barstow, missouri.

Barstow High School is actually located on State Line Rd south of 435 in KC. Right across the street is a housing sub-division whose residents include George Brett.

the barstow school is an uppity college prep for well-off and influential folks who live in the south metro area. they don't have a principal but rather a headmaster. and tuition is a paltry $21,400/year. swallow that, fellow land granters. ;-)

Not trying to throw water on this parade BUT I had a fellow official tell me that he had to eject the mother during a game. This guy is real timid. I hope it's not another case of the Page saga. Hard telling how good they really are. With those 2 talents, the team only got a 3 seed in a weak district.

There was one beautiful thing about the Page saga. Both daughters played their hearts out for whatever team they were playing for at the time. There have and always will be parents trying to live through their children. It is vital not to blame the children for the words and actions of the parents.

Note: Barstow got beat last night scoring 15 pts. Like most recruits, let's see how these girls do in purple.
