Ladies rally past TT

Post by AlabamaLane » February 5th, 2020, 10:39 pm

After trailing by 8 at halftime, the ladies put on a massive rally in the 2nd half to win 84-70 over the Raiders. Lee, Harris, Williams, and Carr all scored 14 or more points. Chapman played 8 minutes scoring a basket with 4 rebounds to give some support off of the bench.

Watched the entire game on my computer. Carr was on fire in the 4th quarter. Very enjoyable game. When we hit from the perimeter, we a tough to beat. Our two inside ladies are getting the job done.

the game is pretty simple. when carr makes shots we win. when carr doesn't make shots we lose. we simply don't have any other shooters on the team with ranke injured. the 4th quarter was fun to watch.

True, hope Carr is maturing into a consistently reliable shooter. The Lady Cats are fun to watch.

Sadly, we come to find that Carr is off more times than she is on. That equals a losing record. When Harris and Williams are gone next year, we wont even win the games Carr is on. Unless Yoki scores 50. Mitties inability to find reliable guards has really hamstrung what could have been a pretty good season this year.

Pretty negative viewpoint and I can only hope that our guards improve their shooting, or that new recruits can shoot.
