I'm not quite ready to join the "Fire Mittie" crowd, but I'd be interested to hear who ADGT might look at if he decides to make a change.

Hire a woman coach who can recruit, it is the Jill's and Jane's not the X's and O's that matter.

If a change is made, just hire the best coach available -- Jill or Joe. This is the era of equality.

taylor stopped separating out wbb on financial reports. currie reported wbb separately. i guess taylor's following how other schools report, lumping the loses in with all other sports while separating out football and mbb. football had what i would call an operating profit of $22.3 million. mbb made $1.7 million. all other sports lost $16 million. the department overall reported a net (profit) of $4.1 million. wbb is a mess presently.
Does that 4 million profit include the $30 million of private donations? Just curious and you seem to be in the know on these things TM.

It’s hard for me to believe we “lose” $16 million on the few other sports we have considering we have the minimum number of sports, and $16 million would be the “entire” budget of some D1 schools including football. Considering it isn’t being reported separately, I suspect some corruption or at least, ‘very frivolous spending with some pockets getting stuffed with over inflated contracts.

We have 2 post players who average double doubles and Mittie has no idea how to find ways to get them the ball. We have ONE player on our roster who is a legit threat to put it on the floor and get to the paint. We have Two guards, and one is out for the season, who can do nothing on offense but shoot 3s, and they shoot a pretty poor percentage for the amount of 3s they take. Mittie is not a good coach. Our entire offense is Harris drive and hope our 2 post players can maybe rebound her misses or have Carr jack up a bunch of 3s and hope it's the 1 out of every 5 games that she is on. I've seen high school basketball with better offense and ball movement than Mittie is generating.

I said this at the end of last year, and Ill say it again. No passion, no heart, no desire, no fundamentals. all in all no will to win, just going through the motions. Any recruit who does have the passion goes elsewhere. Every year I hear some of our good loyal fans say ( this is said with respect) we'll be good next year, and we're going to have INSERT NEXT NEW GIRL) and we are sadly just plain bad. The trajectory of this team has been down, since Debs players played for Mittie. Mittie has a complete inability to recruit that one girl, that plays with heart, desire, that girl that has the ability to spark, and carry her team. Mittie can recruit size, deb could't, Deb knew how to recruit leadership, girls with fire and heart, Mittie fails miserable in recruiting leadership, fire and heart. He hasn't a clue how to recruit girls who will play together as a team. Other then with Debs girls, Mitties teams have been dysfunctional, in that THEY EITHER HAVE NO WILL, OR ABILITY TO PLAY AS A TEAM. It is time for a new coach, and judging by the few people at the game today, it looks like I'm not the only one. BIG MISTAKE WHEN OUR ATHLETIC DIRECTOR RENEWED MITTIE.

Was Kayla Goth a Mittie recruit? If so, I would say she played with heart. Might have been a Deb recruit-whatever the case he coached her to play hard. We miss her leadership this year.

Ok saw they lost and watched the press conference. 0 bench points. Just don’t have any depth outside the starters.
