i was at the game. arkansas has one great shooter and k-state never ever adjusted to her defensively. i'm not impressed with mittie's coaching at all.
I take it they were playing their, zone defense.

i did not see the game saturday but i have seen every other game this year and they have played man to man defense 99% of the time.

Pick 'Em

k-state played both man and zone at arkansas. williams and lee gave them plenty of offense but guard play was horrible. so arky just collapsed on our two bigs and that was it. k-state had a huge height advantage. but if the guards can't score, that strength goes away as defenses adjust. mittie made no adjustments to take away their one-woman offense. i was astonished. i'm also worried about team chemistry. like the men, this team doesn't seem to have an alpha dog. maybe williams will take that role soon?

i agree. peyton needs to step into that role. she is a senior and has the talent and experience. even though it is not in her nature to be outspoken or an aggressive personality, she needs to step out of her comfort zone and become more of a vocal and emotional leader if this team is going to be successful.

From my observation of her that will take quite a personality metamorphosis , not holding my breath
