***Banning announcement***

We have instituted a ban from the WBB forum on Wildcat Engineer. This ban could be temporary.
(He can still post on the other forums if he chooses)

If he wants back after the timeout period, we have advised that he needs to not bring up his criticisms in EVERY SINGLE thread, and limit them to threads where they are warranted, eg, if someone starts a thread discussing the pros/cons of Mittie; that sort of thing.

If Wildcat Engineer does return, hopefully he will abide to this and we can continue to have a productive forum.

If not - a permanent ban will be the next step.

WE is fixated on Mittie negatives, no doubt, but I really don't like banning. Hope he comes back soon a little mellower, because I always enjoy his descriptions of WBB games he attends.

I don’t like banning either and that’s why we had an extremely long leash so far.
But we have had way too many complaints come in from other posters to just let this go.

He can get his across when a Mittie topic comes up. But adding that to other topics or even just
starting a hate Mittie topic is off limits from him.

Because if he keeps scaring off other posters - then there is NO WBB forum in the end.

I felt more annoyed by the constant bashing of the City of Manhattan(and Riley Co) than anything. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you! The success of the forum is the important issue. If one has a bunch of grapes and one is rotten it is tossed to the birds so the entire bunch does not spoil. The advantage of humans over grapes is that one can heal and the taste of all can be enjoyed.

i'm not a fan of banning unless it's for truly boorish, oafish behavior. w.e. may have been guilty of that here. he was certainly annoying on this matter. but banning should have a very high hurdle. otherwise, these sites lose interesting conversations and perspectives; this from one who has been banned by other sites on more than one occasion.

I appreciate the input so far....but the bottom line is that WE is going to have to adjust to what we have set forth.
Anything less will not be accepted. We have discussed this internally and this is the final decision.

If you do not like some ones opinion you can just not read their posts. Banning should be reserved for individuals who are non K-State fans who are only trolling, JMO. Love him or hate him I am 99.99% sure WE is a K-Stater.

Just my opinion, please do not get all riled up.
