In today’s college athletics, I’ve realized maybe how rare our women’s team is in that we retain all of our key players. When’s the last time we’ve had a contributing player transfer to another program? Sure we’ve obviously had those who didn’t play much transfer. But we have to be a rarity in that our key players stay here. Yokie, Serena, Glenn’s, for example are all still here. And it’s been that way for a while now.
Surely that has to help with recruiting. But I wonder what it says about our coaching staff and culture that these players all stay here when so many transfer.
Think about this current roster and how it compares to our men’s team.
