Jordan Speiser announced on social media Friday, Sept. 13 she will be joining K-State’s women’s basketball team. She is the highest-ranked recruit and the first five-star under Head Coach Jeff Mittie. Speiser chooses the Wildcats over UConn, Iowa, North Carolina and others.

ELITEisEARNED REPORT: Jordan Speiser, Elite shooter/Efficient scorer, High IQ, Winner

Everyone is singing her praises now, but I've been on this kid for a minute. I've been telling anyone who would listen that Spieser is one of the best pure shooters in the game and one of the most efficient scorers out there. Love her size and build—her skill set is sound, fundamental. Spieser is an intelligent wing player who can score in a variety of ways and seems to always make the right play. She’s comfortable getting to the midrange and can knock down shots from deep with ease and consistency. At Boo Williams 2023, she stood out as one of the top pure shooters in the country. Her foot organization is elite, with a quick release and straight, on-balance follow-through. She’s also willing to post up smaller guards.
Kansas State is getting a gem.

K-State commit Jordan Speiser vaults to #10 nationally via ESPN Hoopgurlz. First Top 10 player in KSU modern era!

Other Wildcat commit Aniya Foy jumps from 51 to 45.

Remaining targets Shaw (visit?) Harrod (9/27) and Queiroz (decide late Sept) are #42, 74, and #76 respective@Catfan

Coach Mittie has definitely stepped up the recruiting and has achieved outstanding results. In regard to the block K on the jackets, I believe there is a long-standing tradition that the block K is used exclusively for letter jackets for athletes. I don' know if this is official policy or just tradition.
